• THE OFFICE OF ALUMNI RELATIONS is hosting an alumni event this weekend for the men's basketball tournament in St. Louis. About 28 members of the Alumni Association have signed up to date. Cindy Beacom, executive assistant in the President's Office, is representing the alumni office. Look for her loaded down with pompoms and flashing tiger pins! A post-game reception will be held with coaches and players, and all alumni are welcome.

• ALUMNI LIVING IN LOS ANGELES, Calif. area are encouraged to show Tiger pride as the women's volleyball team competes in the NCAA semi-final competion at the University of La Verne as the Tigers take on the third-ranked Leopards at 10 p.m. (EST) Saturday, Nov. 20. Minnesota-area alumni are placed on stand-by for the volleyball championship finals pending Saturday's results.

• JESS CLAYTON '95 AND CHARLIE GRIFFIN '00 participated in Wittenberg's first online chat with students on Nov. 17. The Career Center and alumni relations hosted the event.

• JOHNNY PRYOR '99, Wittenberg's Mock Trial Association Team coach, traveled with the team to Cleveland, Ohio, for its participation in a tournament Nov. 5-7. Read More...

• ROBYN ZIMMANN '81 oversees the Springfield Symphony Orchestra's youth ensembles and education programs in her new position as operations director. She will continue to play French horn with the orchestra as she has done since graduating from Wittenberg. Zimmann was the subject of an article titled "Zimmann Takes Orchestra Post," in the Springfield News-Sun Nov. 11.

• ALICIA SWEET HUPP '82 was one of three women who are successful executives in companies begun by their fathers in an article titled "Women's Work" in the Business section of the Springfield News-Sun Nov. 7.
