• THE SPRINGFIELD ARTS COUNCIL presents The Full Monty at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 24, Kuss Auditorium, Clark State Community College Performing Arts Center. Admission charged.

• HOLIDAY IN THE CITY begins at noon in downtown Springfield Friday, Nov. 26. The Grand Holiday Parade begins at 6:30 p.m., followed by the Grand Illumination Celebration, a performance of music, lights, some familiar holiday friends and a spectacular fireworks display.
