THE WOMEN'S STUDIES PROGRAM will hold a Brown Bag Discussion at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 10, in Ness Family Auditorium, Hollenbeck Hall. "Women's Studies & Gender Studies: Thinking about the Future of Our Program" is the title of the discussion.

THE DEPARTMENT OF HISTORY will welcome Larry Wittner, professor of history, SUNY, Albany, at a colloquium at 3:45 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 11, Bayley Auditorium, Barbara Deer Kuss Science Center. The title of Wittner's talk is "How Peace Activists Saved the World from Nuclear War."
WOMEN'S STUDIES, AFRICANA STUDIES AND THE PHILOSOPHY DEPARTMENT will sponsor a colloquium featuring Nancy McHugh, associate professor of philosophy and director of women's studies, titled "Telling Her Own Truth: June Jordan, Black English and the Epistemology of Ignorance" at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 17, 315 Hollenbeck Hall.
EAST ASIAN STUDIES will present a colloquium featuring Leo Yip, Wittenberg East Asian Studies teaching fellow at 4 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 18. Yip will give a talk titled "Intercultural Theatre within Asia: Representing China in Japanese Noh Theatre."
