• THE NATIONAL AFRO-AMERICAN MUSEUM AND CULTURAL CENTER, Wilberforce University, is hosting its "International Day" from 2-4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 6. The event is cosponsored with the Wilberforce chapter of Links Inc. Celebrate diversity in this annual event that will offer table displays, performance, fashion, song, dance, music and cuisine. Visitors will be able to view the permanent and changing galleries of the museum. Admission is $4 for adults, $1.50 for children.

• THE SECOND ANNUAL DAY OF CARING was held Oct. 19, and nine Wittenberg staff members painted more than five rooms in a transitional home for McKinley Hall. The group picture was taken as each participant shows off a new Wittenberg shirt, and three were hard at work in the picture on the right.
• A HERTZLER HOUSE CHRISTMAS will be held Saturday, Nov. 13 at George Rogers Clark Park. House tours, an auction and an exhibit of original Christmas trees and wreaths by area artists will be featured. Admission is $5.
