The title of Hein's talk is "Explosive Memory: Contemporary American Controversies over the Atomic Bomb."
THE DEPARTMENTS OF ENGLISH, THEATRE AND DANCE will welcome Dan Stroeh '01 at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 26, Ness Family Auditorium, Hollenbeck Hall. Stroeh will give a talk titled "Passion, Priorities and Paying Rent: A Writer's Life after Witt." The program is also sponsored by the Faculty Development Board.
A FORUM ON Ohio's Proposed Amendment Banning Gay Marriage and Domestic Partner Benefits for State Employees will take place at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 26th in Bayley Auditorium. Speaking to this issue will be Greg Quinlan, president of the Pro-Family Network, and Ian James, political director of Ohioans Protecting the Constitution, in addition to campus representation from Lindsay Jacobs from the College Republicans, Julianna Parks from the Gay/Straight Alliance and Don Reed and Nancy McHugh from the Department of Philosophy.
