
KEVIN SALZMAN, assistant professor of art, currently has artwork on display in an invitational exhibition titled "Common Wounds" at the International Center of Bethlehem, Israel. His digital imagery is also included in "20/20", an invitational exhibition featuring 20 regional artists at Capital University's Schumacher Gallery in Columbus, Ohio, which will be on display Oct. 29 - Dec. 10.
FRED TIFFANY (pictured), associate professor of economics and department chair, Darlene Brooks Hedstrom, assistant professor of history, and Jerry Jordan, associate professor of communication, made presentations and led a discussion on "The Race for the White House: Three Academic Perspecives on the Presidential Campaign" on Oct. 8.
WARREN COPELAND, professor of religion, director of urban studies and mayor of Springfield, joined Matthew Kridler, city manager, in writing an Op-Ed column supporting Issue 10 titled "Issue 10 Will Help City Better Serve Residents" that appeared in the Springfield News-Sun Oct. 10.
STEVEN REYNOLDS, professor of theatre and dance, has been named director of the General Education Program by Provost Kenneth Bladh.
CHRISTINE CLOUD, visiting instructor of languages, has coordinated Mesa de Conversacion, a Spanish converstation table program, sponsored by the Department of Modern Languages, which offers the Wittenberg community an opportunity to participate in Spanish conversations.
DARLENE BROOKS HEDSTOM, assistant professor of history, and Thomas Taylor, professor of history, are teaching Archaeological Field Methods at the Gammon House in Springfield. The field study is the first of its kind at Wittenberg, and it was featured in a front-page story in the Springfield News-Sun Oct. 9.
MARGARET GOODMAN, associate professor of biology, and RICK INCORVATI, assistant professor of English presented a FDB Faculty Development Workshop titled "Improving Assessment of Writing in Writing Intensive Courses" on Oct. 11.
