• THE ENGLISH DEPARTMENT SENIOR SYMPOSIUM and Literary Awards will be held Friday, April 20. Time and location to be announced.

• AFRICANA STUDIES will present Norma Rosas Mayen, adjunct instructor for languages and the School of Community Education, at its Spring Semester Lecture titled "Afro-Hispanic Linguistic Remnants in Mexico: The Case of the Costa Chica Region of Oaxaca" at 4 p.m. Monday, April 23, Ness Family Auditorium.

• "THE GREENING OF WITTENBERG" will be held at 4 p.m. Monday, April 23, Bayley Auditorium. The colloquium will celebrate the activities of Wittenberg's Earth Week and discuss changes for the coming year.

• WITTENBERG OPERA STUDIO SCENE PERFORMANCE will begin at 8 p.m. Sunday, April 29, Krieg Hall.
