ED CHARNEY, associate professor of art, SCOTT DOOLEY, associate professor of art, JACK MANN, professor of art, and KEVIN SALZMAN, assistant professor of art, will present a Studio Art Exhibit of their works from Aug. 25-Sept. 22, in the Ann Miller Gallery, Koch Hall.
CARMEN TRISLER, associate professor of education and director of environmental studies, was quoted in two articles, "Nothing Says Late Summer Like a Chorus of Cicadas" and "Loud as They Are, Here's How Cicadas Have Stayed under the Human Radar," which appeared in the Springfield News-Sun, Aug. 14.
JOE FINCHAM, head football coach, was interviewed for an article titled "Tigers Will Have to Sort through Many Questions," which appeared in the Springfield News-Sun, Aug. 9.
LORI ASKELAND, associate professor of English, serves as Wittenberg's representative to the Lilly Fellows Program.
TRUDY FABER, professor of music, traveled extensively during July to present organ recitals. Chosen to perform the annual endowed Vernon Gotwals (professor of music at Smith College) Memorial Concert at the First Congregational Church of Deer Isle, Maine, Faber performed on an 1881 historic Carl Barckhoff organ. She performed two concerts for the annual Bach Festival at Mt. Angel Abbey, Ore., on the Martin Ott organ in the Abbey Chapel. One concert for 500 was sold-out months prior to the Festival. In addition, Faber gave two performances/presentations of "Bach and the Dance" for the Region I Conference of the Association of Lutheran Church Musicians, in Columbus, Ohio.
