Studio Art Faculty Exhibit
From hand-built ceramic to digital prints, the Ann Miller Gallery in Koch Hall is filled with works of art from Wittenberg's art professors. The Studio Art Faculty Exhibition opened on Aug. 21 and will be on display until Friday, Sept. 22. The gallery is open Monday to Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Ed Charney, associate professor of art, Scott Dooley, associate professor of art, Jack Mann, professor of art and Kevin Salzman, assistant professor of art, created a series of works during the spring and summer specifically for this exhibition.
Dooley created a series of pots made of thrown stoneware and hand-built ceramics; Mann, a series of paintings using a range of materials from graphite on paper to watercolor; Salzman, a series of four digital prints; and Charney painted a series of Midwestern landscapes that feature clouds.
“My passion is observing and painting clouds,” Charney said .
The exhibit is free and open to everyone.
