
BRAD HALL '05 will perform at an Alumni Recital at 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 25, in Weaver Chapel. Hall was the sole winner of the Ruth and Paul Manz Organ Scholarship for 2004 and graduated with a degree in organ and church music. The program will include works by Bach, Cook, Dupre, Festing, Krebs, Locklair, Mendelssohn and others.

CELISE STERNECKER MCKEE '91 initiated a quilt-making project to benefit orphans in the Asharan Orphanage in India. Wittenberg costume shop manager and costume designer Deborah Henderson, technical assistant for theatre and dance, and her student employees helped with the project. Read more ...
CARRIE VONDERHAAR '99 was the subject of an article titled "Underwater Dream Job," which appeared in the Springfield News-Sun, Feb. 8. Vonderhaar works as a photographer for Jean-Michel Cousteau's Ocean Futures Society.
KAREN DUNCAN '67, Springfield City Commissioner, was a celebrity presenter along with Warren Copeland, professor of religion, director of urban studies and mayor of Springfield, at the second annual "Sweetness of Peace"celebration Feb. 11. The event was held on campus in the Joseph C. Shouvlin Center fore Lifelong Learning and benefits the Springfield Peace Center.
JEREMY GLAZIER '97, right, presented a poetry reading on campus Feb. 8. Glazier earned his MFA at Columbia University, where he studied with Pulitzer Prize-winning poet, critic and translator Richard Howard and worked for the Poetry Society of America. His MFA thesis, "Tentative Reconstruction of a Baroque Altarpiece," garnered Columbia's David Craig Austin Prize for Best Thesis.
