SOWING THE SEEDS: A Celebration of the Thrivent Financial for Lutherans Youth Leadership Initiative Grant will be held from 4-5:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 22, 105 Shouvlin Center. RUTH KUNKEL BAYLEY '42 and ROBERT 39, right, were recognized during halftime at the men's basketball game Feb. 15 for their generous $500,000 gift for improvements in the HPER Center. Student athletes presented a basketball signed by the men's and women's varsity team members as a sign of their gratitude for the newly completed the Legends Lobby.
THE CHINESE NEW YEAR will be celebrated on campus at 5 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 18, at the Black Culture House. The event, sponsored by The East Asian Studies Club and Assistant Professor of Language Shelley Chan, will begin with the Chinese Dragon Dance, followed by performance, games, fireworks and more.
