The Office of International Education held its first-ever holiday party for Wittenberg's international students on Dec. 8. It was meant to be an "American Christmas" but also served as a farewell for those students who were returning home from their exchange here or graduating. Most of the students came and seemed to enjoy the food provided by the staff and host families, and JoAnn Bennett, director of international education, expects such an event to become an annual tradition.
Matt Cline, husband of Kristin Cline, associate professor of chemistry and department chair, served as a host as well as the photographer for the event. Elizabeth Schmidt, coordinator for international education, made individual stockings and ornaments for each of the students.
