TRUDY FABER, professor of music, will give an organ lecture/demonstration March 2 titled "Bach and the Dance" at Texas A&M, and she will present an organ recital March 4 at College Station, Texas. On March 7, Faber will present a completely different Lenten recital at St. John's Cathedral, Albuquerque, N.M.
ARTIMUS KEIFFER, assistant professor of geography, was interviewed for World View Radio concerning his geographic perspective of a trip to India during the summer of 2005, which was sponsored in part by Wittenberg University. The interview will air at 7 p.m. Sunday, March 4, on WMKV (89.3FM). World View is a weekly radio program that was launched on Sept 3, 2006. Each week, the station spotlights a different region of the world. Keiffer is also a producer of the program. On Feb. 12 Keiffer gave a talk at Castleton State College, Castleton, Vt., titled "Tale of Two Antilles: Comparing the Culture, Politics and Economics of Cuba and Puerto Rico."
JEFF ANKROM, professor of economics, was interviewed for an article titled "Navistar International: Delisting Has Not Hurt Sales of Stock," which appeared in the Springfield News-Sun, Feb. 17. The article discussed the value of Navistar stock since its delisting Feb. 14 by the New York Stock Exchange.
TIM LEWIS, professor of biology, gave a talk at the Clark County Audubon Society meeting about his research on the spotted yellow turtle, Feb. 26. Spotted yellow turtles inhabit the Prairie Road and Gallagher Fens in Clark County, and are on the Ohio threatened species list.
