• KATE GULLIVER '63 has joined the Board of Trustees of the Laboratory Institute of Merchandising (LIM). Gulliver also is the former project director for the Office of Higher Education’s Distance Higher Education Initiative. LIM is the College for the Business of Fashion, an independent, private college with four locations in midtown Manhattan.

• ED COOK '83 and CHRIS PATTERSON '82 met by chance nearly 25 years after graduation at an investor showcase held by Caterpillar Financial Services Corporation in Tinaja Hills, Ariz.

• DAVID N. MORRELL JR. '86 was elected a partner by Hoover Slovacek LLP, Houston, Texas. Morrell received his juris doctorate from Wayne State University Law School, Detroit, Mich., in 1991. He specializes in commercial real estate, commercial transactions and business organizations. He is certified in Commercial Real Property Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
