
A RUSSIAN AREA STUDIES colloquium will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday, April 3, 131 Hollenbeck Hall. Vice President and Treasurer of the Kettering Foundation Ekaterina A. Lukyanova, and English language professor, St. Petersburg University, Brian T. Cobb will give a talk titled "People-to-People Diplomacy in U.S.-Russian Relations."
THE SECOND ANNUAL HARTJE LECTURE will be held at 3:45 p.m. Thursday, April 12, Bayley Auditorium. Beatrix Hoffman, Robert Wood Johnson Scholar, associate professor of history, Northern Illinois University will give a talk titled "Do Americans Have a Right to Health Care?"
THE ENGLISH DEPARTMENT will hold its Senior Symposium and Literary Awards on Friday, April 20.
AFRICANA STUDIES will present Norma Rosas Mayen, adjunct instructor for languages and the School of Community Education, at its Spring Semester Lecture titled "Afro-Hispanic Linguistic Remnants in Mexico: The Case of the Costa Chica Region of Oaxaca" at 4 p.m. Monday, April 23, Ness Family Auditorium.
