KAREN DUNCAN '67 was quoted in an article titled "Third-graders Pray for Officials," which appeared in the Springfield News-Sun, May 10. Eight public officials were added to the students' prayer list following their appearance in a class about local government.

BECKY BARNES '04, her brother ISAAC BARNES '99 and THOMAS LENTZ '89 ran in the Flying Pig Marathon, which was held in Cincinnati, Ohio, May 5-6. Becky placed 22nd out of more than 3000 females in the half-marathon event. Isaac won the full marathon, and Lentz won the half-marathon.
GLENN CHRISTENSON '71 has been elected to Sierra Pacific's board of directors. In a poll of investors and analysts conducted by Institutional Investor Magazine, Christensen was named the top CFO in the gaming and lodging industry in 2006 and 2007. Read more ...
