
THE SPRINGFIELD PRESERVATION ALLIANCE begins its Summer Walking Tours at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 12, in the East High Street Historic District, which has been one of the great thoroughfares of stately mansions in Ohio since the 1850s. At 10 a.m. Saturday, May 26, the tour will feature Ferncliff Cemetery. Covering more than 240 acres of rolling hills and majestic landscape, the cemetery was platted during the Civil War as Springfield’s new burial ground.
THE SPRINGFIELD MUSEUM OF ART presents its 61st Annual Members Juried Exhibition through Wednesday, June 20. Sundays are Family and Friends Day at the museum, and admission is free. Sunday hours: 12:30-4:30 p.m.
THE WESTCOTT HOUSE presents "Architecture in Motion," a lecture featuring award-winning architect Shoei Yoh at 7 p.m. Friday, May 11, Barbara Deer Kuss Science Center on Wittenberg's campus. Admission for members is $10 and $15 for non-members.
