• THE SPRINGFIELD MUSEUM OF ART will present the NASA Aerospace Design Exhibit from Nov. 12-Dec. 16. The museum will be open 1-4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 12 for the exhibit's public opening. Admission $3. At 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 16, Wittenberg Associate Professor of Physics Dan Fleisch will discuss the physics of flight at a free public lecture, and at 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 4, Fleisch will lead free tours of Wittenberg's Weaver Observatory.

• THE SPRINGFIELD SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA (SSO) will salute American's veterans at 8 p.m. Saturday, Nov.11, at the Clark State Performing Arts Center. Wittenberg's Department of Music is well-represented in the SSO. Admission charged.

• THE WESTCOTT HOUSE will present "Foreshadowing: Steps to Come," an Exhibit by Wittenberg Senior Art Majors at the Westcott House from Wednesday, Nov. 15-Sunday, Nov. 26. Visit the Westcott House Web site for full details.

• THE CLARK COUNTY PUBLIC LIBRARY will feature Wittenberg President Emeritus William A. Kinnison, left, at its Speaker Series at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 16, in the Gaier Room. Kinnison is the author of Springfield and Clark County: An Illustrated History, and he will discuss the importance the historical significance of Springfield and Clark County . The lecture is free and open to the public, but registration is required. Call 328-6903 to register. Kinnison will be available for book signing at the end of the program.
