RICHARD L. KUSS '45 received the Springfield Clark-County Chamber of Commerce's first Lifetime Community Achievement Award on Oct. 12.
SELENA SINGLETARY '71 recently retired as the director of human relations, housing and neighborhood services for the City of Springfield. An article titled "Selena Singletary Retires after 31 Years with City," which appeared in the Springfield News-Sun, Oct. 5.
KEVIN ROSE '03 was quoted in two articles titled "Doors Are Ready to Open after 2 Years and $1 Million of Work" and "House's Story Entwined with the National Road," which appeared in the Springfield News-Sun, Oct. 8. Rose, a historian for the Turner Foundation, provided information on both the history and the research involved in the restoration of Springfield's Pennsylvania House.
SHIRLEY WUCHTER '68 attended a reception and book signing during Homecoming Weekend 2006. Wuchter compiled a posthumous collection of sermons by The Rev. Michael Wuchter '68 titled Uplifting Christ Through Autumn. Pastor Wuchter served Wittenberg as university pastor from 1979-1997.
ANNA FINKELSTEIN MICHAEL '06 has a gallery show titled "Faces, Places, and Personalities" at Arts Interface, located above KeyBank at 1 S. Fountain Ave. from Sept. 1-Oct. 31. An opening reception will be held from 7-9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 1.
