Crossroads 2006
Traditional food from 14 countries was served at Crossroads on Oct. 7, during Homecoming Weekend 2006. Every year the American International Association student organization holds Crossroads, an international food fair. International students volunteer to cook and serve a traditional dish from their countries.
Twenty-five students organized the popular event, which was free and open to the campus and local community. Approximately 150 people enjoyed the opportunity to try food from all over the world.
The Hispanic Culture Club co-sponsored Crossroads by having a Hispanic Corner, which included food from Spain, Colombia and Ecuador. Fair Trade also co-sponsored the event by having a stand of their own.
