THOMAS P. MARTIN, professor of health, fitness and sport was a guest on Speak Out, the Larry Spicer show on WULM (USA Radio Network), Dec. 8. Martin spoke on our nation’s Obesity Epidemic and the need for more physical education in Ohio schools. Martin also wrote an op-ed article titled "Doctors Should Prescribe Exercise for Their Patients," which appeared in the Springfield News-Sun, Dec. 2. Martin is a fellow in the American College of Sports Medicine and a registered clinical exercise physiologist and is "committed to encouraging physical activity for the health benefits it has for all people."
