• THE 2008 CHICAGO MARATHON takes place Sunday, Oct. 10, and it will include a team of Wittenberg faculty, student and alumni runners, as well as a cheering section. E-mail Tammy Proctor, associate professor of history, if interested in running or watching to be included in the e-mail list.

• THE NINTH ANNUAL WITTENBERG TRIATHALON takes place Saturday, April 26. The event is open to all faculty, staff, students, alumni and immediate family members. Individuals and relay teams will complete a half-mile swim, a 20-mile bike ride and a four-mile run. Check out the Witt Tri Web site.
