THE HERITAGE CENTER presents "Native Americans in Clark County," with Wittenberg University Professor Emeritus of Geology Robert Morris, at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 26. The free event includes a program, displays, crafts and other activities. On Tuesday, Feb. 5, "Traveling on the Underground Railroad" will be featured.

• THE SPRINGFIELD SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA (SSO) presents "Wine, Dine & Antiques" at 6 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, at the Springfield Museum of Art. The fundraising event combines the SSO traditional wine-tasting with antique appraisals and a live antique auction. Tickets are $30 each in advance or $35 at the door, and include food, wine and verbal appraisal of one item.

THE SPRINGFIELD MUSEUM OF ART presents "Contemporary Ceramics from the Canton Museum of Art" through Saturday, Feb. 23. Free admission on Sundays from 12:30-4:30 p.m.

THE SPRINGFIELD ARTS COUNCIL continues its Broadway and Beyond Series with The Moiseyev Dance Company at 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 25, Clark State Performing Arts Center. Tickets for adults range from $30 to $50, and for students (age 22 and under) from $22 to $40.

THE WESTCOTT HOUSE and the Clark State PAC present "Pulling from the Modernist Tradition," a reception and presentation by Melissa and Diane Thodos, from 7-9 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 31. An informal discussion led by Melissa Thodos, founder and artistic director of Thodos Dance Chicago, and her twin sister Diane Thodos, expressionist painter and printmaker, will explore how the legacy and vision of Frank Lloyd Wright transpire in their creative expressions. The event is free to the public, light refreshments will be served, and a cash bar will be available. For reservations call (937) 327-9291.

THE CLARK STATE PAC SIGNATURE SERIES presents "Thodos Dance Chicago with Gary Geis Dance Company" at 8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, Kuss Auditorium. Tickets are $16-$30. For ticket information, call (937) 328-3874.

THE SPRINGFIELD SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA presents Spanish Inspiration Pepe Romero, guitar, at 8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, Clark State PAC, with a Meet the Orchestra at 7:15 p.m. Program includes Gimenez: "Sinfonia" from La Boda de Luis Alonso; Luna: "Minueto-Intermezzo" from Los Cadetes de la Reina; Rodrigo: "Concierto de Aranjuez;" Ravel: "Rapsodie espagnole," "Pavane for a Dead Princess," "Alborada del gracioso" and "Bolero."
