• MARK H. ERICKSON, president, and LIN ERICKSON, director of government,
corporation and foundation relations, join the runway models at the 52nd annual Wittenberg Guild Scholarship Style Show. "Fashioning the Future" begins with a joint social hour and silent basket auction at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, at the Center Dining Room in the Benham-Pence Student Center. Read more ...

• DONALD BUSAROW, professor of music, university organist and director of the Wittenberg Choir, will travel to Cleveland with the choir where they will perform a Lutheran Hymnfest in the famed Severance Hall at 7 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 4, for the Festival of All Saints. Read more ...

• BRANDON JONES, assistant professor of music, and CHRISTOPHER DURRENBERGER, associate professor of music, will also perform with the Wittenberg Choir in Severance Hall, home to the Cleveland Orchestra. Jones will play in a brass quintet, and Durrenberger will collaborate on the piano.

• TOM MARTIN, professor of HFS, appeared on the news in South Dakota. Visit the Web site of KMEG14, click on Your Hometown at the top of the page and then on the title “Family Looking to Give Away Iowa’s Highest Point” on the left side to see the video. Martin also has an article about “Highpointing” on his Web site.

• LAWRENCE PITZER, adjunct instructor of music, lute, presents a Faculty Artist Recital at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9, Krieg Hall.


BETTY DILLAHUNT '46, emeritus director of athletics, will receive the National Association for Girls and Women in Sport Pathfinder Award for 2008 at the Ohio Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance convention at the Greater Columbus Convention Center on Thursday Nov. 29.
