
THE SPRINGFIELD SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA presents "American Made: The Art of Manufacturing" at 8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, and 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 11, Kuss Auditorium, Clark State Performing Arts Center. The multi-media program will tell the story of American manufacturing through videotape and photos projected on multiple screens accompanied by live all-American music.
THE SPRINGFIELD MUSEUM OF ART presents a juried exhibit by the Ohio Plein Air Society from Nov. 3 through Dec. 1. The show features more than 65 works painted outdoors. Admission is $5. Sundays are free admission from 12:30-4:30 p.m.
THE GEORGE ROGERS CLARK HERITAGE ASSOCIATION presents "Fall at New Boston" from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday-Sunday, Nov. 3-4 p.m. Fall preparations for the coming winter include dyeing, open hearth cooking, candle making and corn grinding, which will be demonstrated by costumed participants. Trade blankets will offer a variety of goods, and a traveling bottle merchant will set up his store in a tent.
