
• PATHS CROSSING PATHS: Blues/Jazz/Rap Workshop will begin at 4:15 p.m. Friday, Sept. 7, Krieg Hall. The workshop will feature performers from this year's African American Cross Cultural Works Blues/Jazz Festival. The event is sponsored by Music at Wittenberg, Africana studies, global studies, Honors Program, Multicultural Student Programs, American studies and the Office of the Provost.
• MUSIC AT WITTENBERG will present its first M & M Recital at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 12, Krieg Hall. An M & M is an informal recital featuring students and faculty.
• THE CYNTHIA F. BEHRMAN COLLOQUIUM SERIES IN HISTORY will begin Fall 2007: Peace and Conflict at 3:45 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 13, Bayley Auditorium, Barbara Deer Kuss Science Center. Peter Van Den Dungen, Department of Peace Studies, University of Bradford (UK), will give a talk titled "The Emergence and Evolution of Hiroshima and Nagasaki as Cities of Peace." The colloquium is co-sponsored by East Asian studies.
• A WITT SERIES COLLOQUIUM featuring Marcia McNutt, IBM Lecture keynote speaker will begin at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 19, Bayley Auditorium, Barbara Deer Kuss Science Center. McNutt will present "Engineering the Oceans: Facing the Social, Ethical and Political Challenges."
THE MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT will present Allan Setter '88, the VP of Frozen Food Sales- Acosta Kroger Team as its Management Executive in Residence at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 25, Bayley Auditorium. Setter will discuss how Kroger has become successful against Wal-Mart, and he will share tips on how students can learn from Kroger’s experience to further their careers.
