
• THE AACW BLUES AND JAZZ FESTIVAL will begin at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 7, in Yellow Springs. From noon-7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, Innovation Stage Educational Workshop and Performance Clinics will be held, followed by performance throughout the evening. Performances will begin at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 9.
• THE GISH FILM FESTIVAL continues at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 7, with a showing of Way Down East (1920), at The Westcott House with a live score by Kevin Callison. Tickets are $12. At 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, take the Gish Sisters Walking Tour of the Irish Hill Neighborhood. Tickets are $8 for adults. The final event will begin at 8 p.m. with a showing of the film, The Wind, with live accompaniment by the Springfield Symphony Orchestra, Kuss Auditorium, Clark State Performing Arts Center. • THE SIMON KENTON PATHFINDERS 8th Annual Fundraiser Bike Ride begins at 8 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 9, at the Urbana Depot, 644 Miami St. (U.S. Route 36). Entry fees of $25 adults, $10 ages 4-12 will raise money for trail maintenance.
• WESTCOTT'S NEIGHBORHOOD WALKING TOUR begins at 2 p.m. every Saturday from Sept. 8 - Oct. 13. The tour from The Westcott House Museum Store takes approximately 60 minutes, and tickets are $8.50 adults, $7 seniors (65+) and $6 students and groups. The tour along East High Street includes homes designed in Neoclassical Revival, Italianate, Queen Anne and Richardsonian Romanesque style.
• THE SPRINGFIELD MUSEUM OF ART presents "Legacy: A Tradition Lives On," through Saturday, Oct. 27. The exhibit features more than 50 works of paintings, prints and sculptures by 15 artists using techniques and materials of the old masters. Sundays are Family and Friends Day, and admission to the exhibits are free. Open Sundays 12:30-4:30 p.m.
• CULTUREFEST, Springfield's day-long ethics festival, will celebrate its 11th anniversary from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 22.
