• THE SPRINGFIELD PRESERVATION ALLIANCE continues its 2009 Summer Walking Tour Series at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 27. The tour, Historic East High: Bushnell Era, visits the mansions built by the wealthy industrialists when Springfield led the nation in the production of farm machinery. Tickets are $8 for adults, $5 for members and $3 for youth.
