• UNIVERSITY OFFICES WILL CLOSE for Independence Day, Friday, July 3. NO CLASSES will be in session.

• THE SUMMER ISSUE OF THE WITTENBERG MAGAZINE has been printed and will be in the mail next week.

• SEVERAL PRE-ORIENTATION PROGRAMS took place in June, affording many members of the class of 2013 to become familiar with campus. Each group joined for a first Wittenberg group photo, left.

• LESOTHO SUMMER 2009 recently welcomed the second group from Wittenberg, including Vice President for Student Development and Dean of Students Sarah Kelly and Director of Government, Corporation and Foundation Relations Lin Erickson. Join their journey. Read more ...

• WITTNATION travels across the upper Midwest to visit alumni in their hometowns over the next few weeks before driving down the Pacific coast. Travel with them by visiting the WittNation Web site often to remain current on their experiences.

• THE YOUNG WOMEN IN SCIENCE day camp begins Monday, July 6. In addition to class time, the students will spend two days off campus. One day at Avetec where they will be engaged in STEM careers while working with women on a simulated computer modeling project. The second will be spent at the United States Air Force Museum where they will meet women pilots and aviators while participating in hands-on scientific experiments activities.

Designed to offer participants direct and concentrated access to the teaching principles of Tobias Matthay (1858-1945), the event included lectures, demonstrations, recitals and master classes, and concerts.
