The handpieced Ohio Star quilt was created by Lucille Schmidt Doxey ’57 of East Aurora, N.Y., as a gift to Wittenberg.
Lucille is the wife of Pastor Robert Doxey ’54. The quilt will be raffled off at the Wittenberg Guild Scholarship Style Show on Nov. 8, and the proceeds will go to the Wittenberg Guild Scholarship Fund.
Raffle tickets are $1 each, or 6 for $5, and can be obtained by calling Linda Himes at (937) 327-7432.
