
Wittenberg University invites applications for the full-time position of Director of Institutional Research. Reporting to the Provost, the Director will provide leadership and direction for all institutional research activities including but not limited to working with senior level administrators and faculty members to design and implement a comprehensive program of institutional research and analysis to support assessment and accreditation, enrollment management, university advancement, and other operations as well as policy development.
Requires a Master’s Degree, a minimum of 3 years institutional research experience and strong technical skills. Also requires experience in research & reporting, statistical analysis, research methods, survey research and working with large databases; ability to report findings succinctly in understandable narrative, graphs, tables and/or charts; an understanding of trends and issues in higher educations, particularly as they relate to private, liberal arts colleges; and familiarity with curricular and institutional assessment. Preference will be given to candidates with experience with Datatel/Colleague or similar system.
