Lesotho, Africa

Led by Dr. Scott Rosenberg, Associate Professor of History, this program wil consist of two courses: Africana Studies 270C (2 credits) and History 270C (4 credits). Students may also chose to have this experience count towards their Community Service requirement.

The 2008 program will be the fourth time that Dr. Rosenberg has taken Wittenberg students to the South African Kingdom of Lesotho to work with Habitat of Humanity and local orphanages. In addition, the students also attend guest lectures at the National University of Lesotho.

This program is scheduled to run from May 13 - June 12, 2008.

Total program cost, including airfare, is $4500.
