While many car rental agencies will not, this company rents cars to persons under 25. You may use an international driver=s license, and you must have liability car insurance.

WITTENBERG VANS
Student organizations or academic offices may rent a van for $8.00 per day plus $.28 per mile. Drivers must be 20 years of age. Fifteen passenger vans available.

They have a discount card called the AStudent Advantage Card.@ It costs $22.50, and it can be ordered over the phone with a credit card. Phone: 1 - 800 - 333 - 2920
With this card you get discounts on trains and bus travel, and some hotels also will give you discounts. To obtain the discount you need to show the Advantage card plus your school ID at the time of purchase. If you have an AT&T calling card or Universal Master Card, you can get the Advantage Card for free.

SPRINGFIELD BUS
The bus will stop at each corner of Fountain Avenue (east side) at 20 minutes to the hour. The first bus is at 9:40 am, and the last bus is at 4:40 pm. It stops at Meijer, Walmart, the Mall, and Park Shopping Center in that order.
To catch the bus back to the Wittenberg area, you need to make sure to get the one labeled "Upper Valley via First Street." Otherwise you wind up downtown. You can pick up a schedule in this office.

VISIT USA PASS
This pass must have been purchased in your home country before coming to US, or you can have your parents purchase one and send it to you. With this pass you pay a bulk reduced rate for flights to US destinations of your choice. You must show airlines your original flight ticket to validate it.

ISIC CARD
The International Student Identification Card (ISIC) can be purchased at the Office of International Education. This card can get discounts on international flights and domestic flights. The following number also can assist you with obtaining a card and with making flight arrangements: 1 - 800 - 2COUNCIL.

YOUTH HOSTEL CARD
This card can be purchased for $25.
