These prestigious awards significantly enrich the educational and life experiences of the recipient.   Interested Wittenberg students are encouraged to consider these options. To assist students in completing the award applications accurately and efficiently, short descriptions of the awards are listed below. Each description contains the type of award, eligibility of the applicant, and summary of the award.   For more information on each award click on the title of that award.

Before applying, students should consider that most of these awards require the student to exemplify a combination of:

  1. An excellent academic record
  2. Exceptional writing and researching skills
  3. Superior oral presentation capabilities
  4. Leadership in non-academic areas i.e. community service and/or campus life
  5. A detailed research or study proposal
  6. In-depth letters of reference
