Dr. Mark H. Erickson Named 13th President of Wittenberg
University
The
Wittenberg University Board of Directors has unanimously elected Mark
H. Erickson, vice president for administrative and government affairs
at Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pa., as the university’s 13th
president.
“Dr. Erickson’s qualifications and background clearly
stood out among the other candidates, and we are thrilled that he
accepted our offer to be part of the Wittenberg community,”
said Ingrid Stafford, chair of the Board of Directors and chair of
the search committee.
Erickson, who will begin his service to Wittenberg on July 1, succeeds
Baird Tipson, who served as president from 1995-2004.
