Expanding Technology

As part of Wittenberg's commitment to quality, computer technology and methods are reaching into nearly every aspect of campus life. State-of-the-art equipment is in place to assure that the Wittenberg student gets the best of both high-tech and traditional means of education.

Hundreds of computers are available on campus for student use. Thirty lab facilities are open all hours of the day. Students have 24-hour access to labs located in residence halls and Hollenbeck Hall. Upon request, science students usually have after-hours privileges to labs located in the Barbara Deer Kuss Science Center.

Wittenberg's network is Windows 2000 based and offers student connection locations across campus. Students are given access to many software applications through network drives, as well as access to personal network space that can be used for storage of personal documents. Students are also given the opportunity to create their own personal Web pages if they wish.
