Geography
Widely respected in the field, Wittenberg's geography program is the only program of its kind at any private university in Ohio. The program allows you to focus in one of three areas: Environmental studies, centering on the relationship between people and their environment; Regional studies, highlighting specific world regions such as Middle America, Southeast Asia, or former Eastern-bloc areas; or Urban planning, focusing on urban analysis and planning methods. Complementing classroom study is hands-on work in our well-equipped on-site geography lab, internships, co-op programs and study abroad. Wittenberg graduates have gone on to rewarding careers such as regional and urban planners, environmentalists and GIS specialists. Typically nearly half of Wittenberg's geography graduates pursue further study in graduate programs. Degrees offered
