We are thrilled to have the pleasure to invite you to the Ohio Counselor Visitation Program.  We truly value the work you do to send us the best of the best from your institution and would like to give you an idea of what they’re achieving once they arrive on our campuses and in our classrooms. Over the four days of the tour, you’ll get a glimpse of our nationally-recognized educational programs and energetic student bodies, all while enjoying the picturesque landscapes of our campuses.  We think you will find your time with us well spent, as you continue on your quest to match students with the right university.

Tour Schedule:

Sunday, April 13: Arrival at Port Columbus International Airport Upon arrival at Port Columbus, an admission representative from Wittenberg University will greet you in the baggage claim area by the information desk.  From there you will take a Wittenberg shuttle to the Embassy Suites hotel. 6:30 p.m. Welcome Reception and Dinner (at Embassy Suites)

Monday, April 14: 7:00 a.m. Continental breakfast at Embassy Suites 7:30 a.m. Bus departs for Wittenberg University 8:30 a.m. Wittenberg University (lunch at Wittenberg) 2:30 p.m. Denison University (dinner at Denison) 7:15 p.m. Arrival at Embassy Suites

Tuesday, April 15: 6:30 a.m. Continental breakfast at Embassy Suites 7:00 a.m. Bus departs for The College of Wooster 9:00 a.m. The College of Wooster (lunch at Wooster) 2:30 p.m. Oberlin College (dinner at Oberlin) 8:30 p.m. Arrival at Embassy Suites

Wednesday, April 16: 6:45 a.m. Bus departs for Ohio Wesleyan University 7:30 a.m. Ohio Wesleyan University (breakfast at OWU) 12:30 p.m. Kenyon College (lunch at Kenyon) 7:00 p.m. Departure from Port Columbus International Airport Upon arrival at each school, you will be provided with a program of events specific to that school.

Accommodations:

Counselors will stay at The Embassy Suites in Dublin, OH each evening of the tour.  Travel to Columbus, transportation to each college, accommodations and meals are provided by the six hosting colleges.  The only cost to you and your school is a non-refundable $250 registration fee. 

Remember, weather in Ohio at this time of year varies.  We are between seasons, so it could be 70 degrees one day and 40 the next!  We suggest you bring a light jacket, raincoat or sweater, comfortable clothes, walking shoes, and an umbrella.  Dress is casual for the tour.  Don’t forget to bring your camera to take pictures of the six schools on the tour!
