Evaluation of Advanced Placement Examinations
redline

Advanced Placement (AP) grades of 1 and 2 are not accepted. Refer to the following table for grades of 3, 4, and 5 on the exams listed. For students awarded credit, the transcript will include the course and credits.

(Effective for students matriculating Fall Semester 2003 and after)
Students must receive course credit to fulfill a General Education course requirement. A student may satisfy a General Education course requirement by receiving Advanced Placement (generally with a score of 4 or 5), and thus receiving course credit. Students do not fulfill a General Education course requirement simply by “placing out” of a course. The “place out” of a course is for pre-requisite purposes only.
