2009 Summer Residential Program for High-Achieving Youngsters

WISE Academic Camp at Wittenberg University celebrates 23 years providing academic enrichment in a fun, coed residential camp for students entering grades 6-8. Students experience a sample of college classes and college life by selecting a major in chemistry, Japanese, drama, or computational math. Special daily short courses includes, to name a few, poetry, art, leadership, or physics. College life is experienced through team building, leadership, recreational and social programs.

Who can attend? WISE is open to students entering grades 6, 7 or 8. Students interested in the why and how things work will enjoy their week at Wittenberg University.

Residential Program Fee $650 covers classes, activities, room and board, along with a Wittenberg T-shirt.

Financial Aid We are committed to including qualified young men and young women regardless of their economic circumstances. The application for full and partial need-based scholarships is included with the WISE Camp application.

Student Application Procedure Completed applications and nomination forms are due by April 13. We will consider applications received after that date only if space is available. We will notify applicants by May 4.

Applicants may use the versions available below.

Major and 15 Short Course Selections (see Course Descriptions below)

Students may select one of the following majors:
1. Chemistry
2. Japanese
3. Drama
4. Computational Math
