The Torch, Wittenberg’s weekly newspaper, is produced by an all-student staff. Its purpose is to inform the Wittenberg and Springfield communities about current issues, news events and features on campus personalities. The Torch invites articles from students, faculty and staff.
Activities Include: The publication is distributed every Thursday, from the 3rd through 15th week of each semester.
Membership: To write for the Torch, one must contact the editor. In addition, other positions are also available. The Torch has open membership and is not limited to English majors.

WUSO is Wittenberg University's student-run radio station operating at 89.1 FM. The Air Studio/Request Line is 327-7030. The station has been serving the Wittenberg campus since 1966 and recently increased its signal strength to now serve Springfield and beyond. WUSO is one of the Wittenberg's largest student-run organizations and is committed to providing campus information as well as providing a wide variety of music and sports programming. As an organization, WUSO strives to teach all of its members the ins and outs of professional broadcasting while simultaneously allowing for a creative and entertaining experience.
Activities Include: Student-programmed shows, remote on-location broadcasts, news and sports programming, public service features.
Membership: All students are welcome to attend the monthly general staff meetings.
