College Republicans The College Republicans offer assistance to the Republican Party and its candidates by promoting voting, political interest and political information on the Wittenberg campus. Each fall, members actively support local, state and national candidates for political office, including voting drives and literature drops. Each spring, the club attends state and national conservative conferences, holds a conservative week on campus and hosts a major speaker. Past speakers include Oliver North, Reginald Jones, Star Parker and most recently, Ann Coulter. The College Republicans club is a chartered member of the Ohio and National College Republicans. Membership: Open to all. Model United Nations Club The purpose of the Model UN Club is to foster learning about the United Nations and to provide a forum for discussion of international issues. Members of the organization prepare for and attend conferences that simulate the United Nations by representing a country’s interests in various committees. There are weekly meetings to prepare for the conferences and to discuss current affairs in the world. WUMUNC provides leadership and decision-making opportunities for all involved. Membership: Open to anyone with an interest in international affairs. |
