Circle K

Circle K is a service organization providing a link between the campus and the community. Circle K holds the promise of today’s college students becoming tomorrow’s leaders. It exists to meet the personal needs of the individual collegian through the qualities of leadership, the rewards of service and the unique spirit of friendship. Circle K’s potential lies in its ability to influence society positively. Circle K embodies those qualities necessary to shape the future, realized in the colleges and universities of today.

Activities Include: Social and service events, local, state and national meetings, conferences, conventions and fundraisers.

Membership: Open membership. Members become educated about Circle K, attend meetings and participate in the club’s service, leadership and social activities. The yearly dues cover the cost of newsletters, social events, and club, district and national dues. Dues may be covered by fund-raisers and through the help of the Wittenberg Student Senate.

Habitat for Humanity

Wittenberg Habitat for Humanity in a nonprofit Christian housing organization. By partnering with low-income families to build simple, decent homes, Habitat works toward its goal of eliminating poverty housing. Wittenberg Habitat for Humanity works with Clark County Community Habitat and with Springfield partner families to construct homes in this area. During spring break, Wittenberg Habitat sponsors trips to work camps in other regions of the country. In addition, Wittenberg Habitat raises money for new construction projects and strives to educate the Wittenberg community about the problem of poverty housing in the United States and around the world.

Membership: All members of the Wittenberg community are welcome.
