While baking Christmas cookies with my younger daughter, my 14-year-old found the Wittenberg Choir Reunion show on The Learning Channel. I stopped baking and watched.
What a wonderful tribute and gift for Mr. Williams! I cried several times. It was heartwarming to see the warmth among the choir members and their beloved teacher. The Wittenberg bond and loyalty showed their strength.
After watching, my daughter asked if we could go the reunion in 2000. As much as Wittenberg and college friends have meant to me over the years, I have never attended a reunion-although I have been down for many football and basketball games.
I am excited about the prospect of returning in 2000 if for no other reason than to hear the beautiful sounds of the choir. I admire you all and wish you a rich life full of blessings.
Thank you for the opportunity to reflect on my years at Wittenberg and friendships made.
