Mires C. Stine Jr. is a Lutheran chaplain educator with the department of ministry and pastoral care at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington D.C., where the majority of wounded soldiers from Iraq and Afghanistan are being treated upon their return to the United States. He lives in Gilbertsville, Pa.

P. Kay Carl was selected to receive a Distinguished Alumni Award from Ashland High School in Ohio for her contributions throughout her 30-year teaching career with the Clark County School District, Las Vegas, Nev.

Margot Friend Coryell has retired from Hall-Dale Middle School, Mt. Vernon Rescue and Wilderness Rescue Team in Maine.

Ned W. Landis Jr. lives in Roseburg, Ore. Following his retirement in 2005 as a child protection service caseworker for the State of Oregon, he worked as a house manager for a transitional housing program for homeless teens. He retired again in 2007 and now volunteers at St. Joseph's Parish.
William J. and Myra Willour Novak live in Indianapolis, Ind. Following 36 years of service, William has retired as pastor of Bethlehem Lutheran Church. He continues to teach at the University of Indianapolis and the Christian Theological Seminary and plans to start a small church-consulting business.

H. David and Laurine Snyder Herman live in Newark, Del. David, Trustees Distinguished Professor of Music and university organist at the University of Delaware, was awarded a doctor of music honoris causa degree by Nashota House, an Episcopal Church seminary in Wisconsin. He is an internationally known recitalist who frequently tours in Europe and has played on many of the world's greatest organs. His compositions and editions have appeared in the catalogues of five American publishers.
David L. King, Parsons, W.Va., is associated with the HI-Y Leadership Center at the Ohio-West Virginia Y.M.C.A., St. George, W.Va. West Virginia's governor recognized David with the state's highest honor by naming him a Distinguished West Virginian for his leadership on behalf of and service to youth.

William C. Vocke Jr. has married Carol Li. They live in Taipei, Taiwan, where William serves as a visiting professor at National Cheng Chi University and as a board member for the Fulbright Program and the American Chamber of Commerce.

Barbara D. Hall of Wayne, N.J., won local and state awards for the cover design of her book, Adam's Eve: A Handbook for the Social Revolution - ECOA and the Story of Adam and Eve. She was honored with the Foreword Magazine Silver Award for Book of the Year in Family and Relationships. For two short stories submitted to the 76th Writer's Digest Contest, she was awarded honorable mention. In addition, she has been winning many awards for her photography.
Paul A. and Cynthia Anderson Loeffler live in Huntsville, Texas, where Paul is a full professor of chemistry at Sam Houston State University. Cynthia, who received her doctorate in educational leadership from Sam Houston State University in 2005, has completed 25 years as an administrator with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice School District. She currently teaches online for various online universities, including the University of Phoenix.

Barbara, a teacher of gifted social studies students at Phenix City Central High School in Alabama, was named the 2007 Outstanding History Educator of the Year by the History Channel cable network. She was also named the 2007 Sara Spano Top Teacher at the Ledger-Enquirer's 32nd Page One Awards.
