The Witt Series concluded its 2007-08 season in style with a performance by the famed Beaux Arts Trio, April 8. Sponsored by the Ruth B. & Thomas F. Mackey Charitable Trust, the performance was one of 18 stops on the trio’s final North American tour.

Daniel Hope, who joined the trio in 2002, and Brazilian-born cellist Antonio Meneses, who joined in 1998, the Beaux Arts Trio delighted listeners as it performed “Trio in A minor” by Maurice Ravel, “Work for Piano Trio” by Gyorgy Kurtag and “Trio No. 1 in B-flat major, Op. 99 (D. 898)” by Franz Schubert.
