Softball Head Coach Becky Hall reached
a landmark on March 29 surrounded by
family and friends on the field she has
called home for more than a decade. A
doubleheader sweep of Case Western at
Betty Dillahunt Field pushed Hall to
201 career coaching victories.
“It was nice to celebrate on our home
field,” said Hall, whose 10-year career
record was 201-166-1 after the wins. “And it was nice to do it with this team.
It is also good that it happened in the
middle of a winning streak.”
Awarded the distinction of Four-Star
Master Coach by the National Fastpitch
Coaches Association in 2007, Hall is far
and away the coach with the most wins
in Wittenberg softball history. She is also
the only coach to ever lead the Tigers to
the NCAA Division III Tournament,
which she did in 2000 and 2003, winning
an opening round game each time.
