Some thoughts are inspired by your Summer edition of “Letters”
about your Spring 1999 article “Curtain Callings.”
Your readers, especially James Rebhorn, ’70, who has performed more than
once at the Peterborough Players in New Hampshire, would be interested in learning
that Martha (Mickey) Michelfelder Scott, ’50, is on the Board of Directors
of that organization.
A year ago, I had the opportunity of seeing him perform there while designing
and building a tree house for her.
My credentials for such an undertaking: the design of more than 600 shows at
NBC, ABC and CBS, plus design for stage in Los Angeles plus years of teaching
Stage Design at four universities. She loved the tree house. I loved his performance.
