Marjorie Friedrich Ostroushko, Minneapolis, MN, received a Peabody Award for her work on The Mississippi: River of Song. Her company produced the seven-hour radio documentary, commissioned by the Smithsonian Institution, which explored the waterway’s role in the development of American music.
