Two new Alumni Board members discuss plans, share defining moments

University of Dayton As a member of the alumni board: “I would hope to be able to make a contribution so that we can sustain and hopefully increase the level of funding the school is receiving through personal contacts and overall promotion of the university.”
Defining Moment at Wittenberg: “My contribution to the founding of Concerned Black Students and the Black Student Walkout in 1969.”

Education: B.A. in Health and Physical Education
As a member of the alumni board: “I would like to continue to educate our wonderful alumni on how important each person is to the continued success of Wittenberg University. A person’s contributions can take many forms from hiring graduates, supporting athletic teams or drama performances, attending events or making an annual financial pledge. We all had different experiences that touched different parts of our lives. I want to help provide those experiences to future generations.”
Defining Moment at Wittenberg: “I truly had numerous Defining Moments in different areas of my life. ... Most importantly, I established life-changing friendships that continue to grow. During my four years in Springfield, I did more changing then at any other time in my life. I was grateful to have supportive people by my side. My Wittenberg connections continue to increase, and I am thankful for that.”
